I put this list together for a friend of mine and I didn’t want it to go to waste so, I offer it to you. In this list you have the President and Congress, their party affiliation and all major bills that were signed during their administration or term. I know it’s a lot of information, but it’s all in one place now. I hope you enjoy it A LOT more than I enjoyed researching and recording it all. It wouldn’t take much to enjoy it more than that. Have fun!
(This is a partial list of notable United States federal legislation; each biennial Congress enacts approximately 200-300 statutes. After 109 Congresses, more than 20,000 statutes had been enacted since 1789. This list contains, therefore, only a small selection.)

NGP, I could not leave this site without giving you a huge, monstrous, THANK YOU for putting this information together. I have looked and looked for this, but couldn’t find any consolidation of this info. I accidentally ran across this while searching for some other info. It is of great help to me, and I want to thank you again.

Old Man,
I feel kind of weird calling you old man…lol. Anyway, thanks for your kind words. This project took awhile and was actually originally created to rebut a ridiculous claim by a friend. After so much work on it I thought it would be a waste not to share it with you all.
Your comment and heartfelt appreciation makes it all worth while. Thank you for visiting the site and I hope you’ll come back from time to time to see what’s new, if not every day.

This information is terrific for the public and for fair and unbiased reporting.
It would be even greater if it indicated who submitted the legislation and their party affiliation, that way neither could blame the other for lying! It would be a great service to the country to enable truly educated choices by our citizens.

Louis,
Thanks for your great comment. I’ll see what I can find, but that might be a bit difficult to go back to 1952. By indicating who had the majority at the time of legislation passage, was an attempt by me to show who had control, at least. Thanks again for your comment. I hope to see more comments fro you in the future.
